While I like the idea, I will also be reasonable and tell you that I went through the same thing. Hell, I’m not even sure if I want to keep my own NSFW blog running even though it’s been a long while since I started it.
I am personally not to keen on letting my NSFW stuff spread too much, but my follower base has been nice enough to follow my no-reblogging-porn rule. It’s something that’s worked for me, so far at least.
Forgot to add to that last ask that I’m not keen on letting it spread because sometimes artists that do porn end up being recognized more for it than for the rest of their work, and I’d rather not be another “yeah the dude with the good porn”. I want people to like my work for their content, and if they happily stumble into this, then all the better for them.
I also admit I considered closing this place and distributing my porn to the few people I actually feel like sharing it with, but ultimately decided not to since results so far have been good.
I know it’s hard, but I’ve had fairly decent results so far. This blog isn’t super known out there, and everyone that’s visited so far has been nice enough to actually follow that prompt. I’ve only seen one set of doodles escape tumblr so far. IDK, I guess I just feel like this place has an audience composed of good people willing to take how I feel about it into account.
Another name is a hassle, and I don’t know if it’d even work either. My style would be blatantly obvious. Anyway, I don’t really draw this kind of stuff for EVERYONE. It’s simply something I don’t really care about, I guess? I still have my SFW work to share with the world, which is also a lot more fulfilling. It’s easy to catch people’s eyes with porn, and not so much through storyline and character development. That aside, it’s not the internet knowing I care about, but my friends and family, since I’m planning on starting an original project in the near future they will probably end up knowing about, and I’d rather avoid the awkward conversations if they find about this hahaha.

It was going to be a productive night but somewhere along the way I strayed off-road and ended up drawing a bunch of porn.
No regrets, and hopefully this’ll balance out the unexpected amount of gay in this tumblr.

In general I’d love it, but porn is a subject I’d like to keep under control. I’m eventually going to branch out and do some original work, and with that comes a high chance of having people I know IRL looking at it. Not interested in leaving any possibility of said people finding this kind of stuff.
Take into account I’ve always been iffy about having a NSFW tumblr anyway.
